About the project

TradiePro is a field-service app built for Australian tradies — plumbers, electricians, and builders on the Gold Coast and beyond. Running a small trade business from a ute meant paper quotes, chasing invoices, and doing the books at 9pm. We built a cross-platform Flutter app that lets tradies quote on-site, schedule jobs, track time and materials, snap job photos, and turn a completed job into a GST invoice synced to MYOB in a single tap — getting them paid faster and off the laptop.

The challenge

Australian sole-trader and small-crew tradies were running everything on paper and memory: quotes scribbled on-site, invoices raised days later (if at all), and the books done late at night. Cash flow suffered because invoicing lagged the work, and existing job-management apps were bloated, expensive, and clearly built for desktops — not for someone standing in a roof cavity with one hand free.
