What is your typical development process?
We follow a 6-step process: Discovery (aligning on goals), Scoping (requirements and architecture), Proposal (fixed timeline and pricing), Build (agile sprints with weekly demos), QA & Launch (rigorous testing and go-live), and Support (post-launch retainer or handoff). Every phase has clear deliverables and sign-off points so you always know what is happening.
Do you offer fixed-price contracts?
Yes. For well-scoped projects with clear requirements, we offer fixed-price contracts where your investment is locked from day one. For projects with evolving requirements, we recommend a Time & Materials or Dedicated Team model that gives you more flexibility. We discuss the best model for your project during Discovery.
How long does a typical project take?
A focused web project (custom website, Shopify store, or MVP) typically takes 4–8 weeks. A mobile app or complex web platform runs 10–16 weeks. Enterprise integrations and AI solutions range from 6–20 weeks depending on scope. We provide a detailed timeline in the proposal phase before any work begins.
What engagement models do you offer?
We offer four engagement models: Fixed Price (defined scope, locked cost), Time & Materials (flexible scope, transparent hourly billing), Dedicated Team (a pod of senior engineers working exclusively on your product), and Retainer (a monthly allocation of engineering hours for ongoing work). We will recommend the model that best fits your project during scoping.
Do you sign NDAs before starting?
Yes. We sign a mutual NDA before any discovery session or scoping discussion. Confidentiality is a baseline expectation for us, not an afterthought. Our standard NDA covers all information exchanged during the engagement and has no expiry for proprietary business data.
Who owns the intellectual property after the project?
You do. Full intellectual property — code, designs, data models, documentation — transfers to you upon final payment. We do not retain any license to your product. This is written into every contract with no exceptions.
What happens if the project goes over budget?
On Fixed Price contracts, cost overruns are our responsibility, not yours. If scope is unchanged, the price is unchanged. On Time & Materials projects, we flag any risk of overspend before it happens — you always approve additional investment before we proceed. We have never delivered a surprise invoice.
How do we communicate during the project?
You will have a direct WhatsApp or Slack channel with your lead engineer and a project manager. We run weekly sprint demos so you see working software every 7 days. All tasks, decisions, and blockers are tracked in a shared project board (Notion or Jira, your preference). You will never need to chase us for an update.
