About the Project
Gulf Global Commerce is a UAE-based multi-brand retailer operating across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. We built a custom inventory and order management system that connects four warehouses in real time — replacing a patchwork of Excel sheets and manual WhatsApp updates. The system features AI-driven reorder triggers, automated supplier PO generation, live inventory sync across warehouses, and a mobile-first interface that warehouse staff actually use. Processing time dropped by 60% and stock-outs were reduced by over 40% within the first quarter.
The Challenge
Gulf Global Commerce was managing AED 1.2M+ in inventory across four UAE warehouses with Excel spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups. Stock-outs were costing them orders. Reorder timing was based on gut feel. There was no visibility across warehouses and no connection to their accounting system. They needed a purpose-built system — not another off-the-shelf ERP that would take 18 months to configure.
How We Delivered
Business Discovery
Spent two weeks on-site across warehouses in Dubai and Sharjah — mapping every workflow, constraint, and data flow from receiving to dispatch.
Platform Architecture
Designed a bilingual (Arabic/English) inventory and order management system with PDPL-compliant data storage and UAE VAT handling via Zoho Books.
Warehouse Integration
Connected four warehouses with real-time stock sync, AI-driven reorder triggers based on velocity and lead time, and mobile barcode scanning.
UAT & Launch
Ran a 3-week parallel operation period, trained warehouse staff on mobile interface, and cut over fully with zero stock discrepancy on day one.
